Happy Friday friends! Today I wanted to share a few photos from a trip we just went on to the island of Grand Bahama. Before we went to Eleuthera, Bahamas last month, I honestly didn’t realize that the Bahamas was made up of bunch of small islands. I thought Nassau, which is where the famous Atlantis is, was all of the Bahamas. But I was wrong, and we’ve now visited two of the many Bahamian islands, both which were gorgeous.
We went to the Grand Bahamas because Dude Perfect was filming a new YouTube video (Deep Sea Fishing Battle) and they were able to bring all of the wives on the trip. YAY! I always love when I get to travel on work trips with Cory, even though I sometimes feel like I don’t actually see him much once we’re there because he’s working! Haha! It’s still better than staying at home by myself!
We flew into West Palm Beach and from there took a 2.5 hour charter boat to the Bahamas. Once we arrived, we had a late dinner and then headed strait for our beds after a long day. We originally all stayed in a massive house together, but decided to move after a couple of days so that we were closer to the pool, beach and restaurant. The resort we stayed at was called Old Bahama Bay and was filled with bright colored buildings, which were the hotel rooms, a really beautiful and quiet beach, and had the most amazing sunsets every night!
There were a couple of interesting moments on our trip, which definitely made for forever memories, haha! For example, the 4 wives all signed up for massages and they ended up being couple’s massages so we were in the same room as each other lol! I also got super sea-sick on one of the boat rides and while all of this was happening the guys were filming their video just a few feet away. Haha! Also, we saw a moth the size of a bird, which was terrifying! So… yes, all in all we made plenty of memories during our time in Grand Bahama. As I’m sure you guys are aware of by now, I always like to see new parts of the world, so I’m super thankful that I got to go on this adventure.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Love, Amy Cotton
