Happy Monday everyone!! This past week I got to go with Cory to Destin, Florida for a little bit of work and a little bit of play! I never like to be alone when Cory travels so I was super excited to go with him! The guys rented an amazing house close to the beach that was perfect for our group of 15 people (including children). Our pool was especially amazing!
I’d been to Destin once before, but I forgot how white the sand was and how blue the water was! It was really pretty!! I don’t like to go very deep in the ocean (unless I’m in Bora Bora and the water is completely see through! Haha!) so I spent most of my time on the beach. After not too long we decided we’d all rather go back to our pool instead so we left! Haha! It was hard to resist a pool with no sand and access to our house whenever we wanted.
Even with all the great beach restaurants available, we went to Joe’s Crabshack for our first dinner, and we didn’t regret it! My lobster and shrimp was delicious!
One thing we were reminded of while sharing a house with cute babies is that they wake up early. We figured out that by downloading a noise maker app on our phones, we could sleep in a little later! Haha!
One of our last days in Florida, Cory and I went to this shopping area called The Village At Baytowne Wharf just the two of us! It was a super cute area and had some fun restaurants and shops! I had an ice cream sandwich that, although it melted in about 3 minutes, was delicious! Definitely an area I would recommend checking out if your staying near Destin!
Anytime I get to travel with Cory for work is a win for me and this time was no different! Be on the lookout for Dude Perfect Beach Stereotypes! It’s going to be a funny one! Everyone have a great week!

Looks like such a fun trip.. I love your recaps! ๐ And yep… being a mom has now made “sleeping in” for me be like 7:45.. haha!!
What a fun trip! That house looks AMAZING and as always, all your pictures are so great!
This looks AMAZING! You two are the cutest! I love your ruffled hem blue ensemble! I could look at these pictures all day!
Destin is such a beautiful beach! We've talked about doing Destin next year. Love the house y'all stayed in! I might have picked the pool over the beach, too, especially if your house wasn't right on the beach. So much more convenient!

Ah, I just got back from Destin yesterday too! We stayed close to the Commons shopping area, about a half mile from The Crap Trap. ๐ We went to Baytowne Saturday night – not sure if you were there then or not. ๐ Looked and sounded like a fun week!
